who am I?

Who am I?  I am emmapeeldallas; I am Judi with an “i”; I am mother, grandmother, sister, friend, colleague, -ex. I am 58 years old (how did THAT happen?) but I don’t feel it.  Dick Cavett said it better than I ever could: I don’t feel like an old person, I feel like a young person with lots of things wrong. Which reminds me, humor is extremely important to me! So is music, of all kinds, and especially live music...and books, and food, and children, and flowers. I’m passionate to a fault; also energetic and enthusiastic, but I’m also prickly.  I’ve been compared to a cactus, and consider that a great compliment.  I’m highly analytical, so don’t try to snow me, as I will generally see through it. I’m a reader, writer, gardener, photographer, camper and hiker...oh, I could go on and on (add “verbose” to that list) but this is probably more than enough for now...

Welcome, Judi!

I'm interested in the "cactus" thing.  I've been likened to that myself.  An interesting thing to have in common...  LOL!

I don't think I'd realized how MANY things we have in common!

We have quite a bit in common too!  I insist that I will not get old (no matter how much it hurts).  As long as that live music is playing and we're DANCING....there is no old.
:)

Looking forward to getting to know you better.
